Statement:

My artwork can be inspired from admiration or affection for the subject and/or the universal issues they represent, through social inequality and my interest in the human psyche and human condition.
My portrait work resonates a visual narrative, portraying empathetic interpretations of the sensitive inner character of my subjects, while capturing their inner glow and beauty.

TO BE’

“To be loved and held with pride

 Not shoved and pushed aside
 To be accepted and cherished
 Not rejected and left perished
To take my palm that’s been shaken
Feel calm and let my senses awaken”

~ Cassy Allsworth, 2009.
