I am a self-taught artist, I was born and grew up in Maryborough and now currently live in Caboolture, QLD.
I didn't discover my natural talent for art until around age 19, when I decided to draw a portrait of a celebrity one night, which came as a big surprise.
After that I submitted a portfolio of drawings to Brisbane North Institute Of Tafe, Certificate 3 in visual arts.

I've always been particularly drawn to portraiture, which has always been my favourite subject, but enjoy doing various subjects and exploring other types of art, like ceramics, clay sculpture and also love photography. I love doing realistic and detailed work, but would also love to try more abstract or impressionistic style as well. My favorite mediums have been acrylic, oil, graphite and charcoal. I prefer using a more limited or monocromatic palette, instead of bright bold colours and more attracted to moodier or sombre images and try to capture the essence of my subjects spiritually and physically.

Over the last several years, I've won multiple American Art Awards, in various categories from celebrity portraits, animal portraits, political commentary and photography.
